Every time I see this series of images, it reminds me of the tough work, and the pain that went into capturing it.
I'm a Florida boy, and I took this up in Boone, North Carolina, in about 0 degree temperature with some wind. Barehanded and without a tripod, I made use of the world around me to brace my camera -- For minutes at a time, in some shots! I had to calm myself almost to the point of meditation to keep from shivering and ruining the shot... Which happened more than once.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
